Don't Name the Slight

A two week death in the family
a slight, a death,
a resolution, death,
limitless pain in where then
the paths have crossed
and wires and there is
deep life in superstition.
in pain, a slight, a death,
a deep wound in gossip,
so the slate is wiped of
cousin of uncle of in-laws,
of and oh how the pain is
deep, the clumsy action,
a broken bottle to the wound
of aunt, mother, wife,
the cousin, I'm found,
we're mined for data
together we work for the record,
your nose, my mother,
never met but
for the record
and on we intersect.
